Solutions for Housing Societies
We provide optimized solutions for all housing societies with varying locations and number of flats.
We have learnt over the years that each flat produces about 1 kg of wet waste per day.
Thus, based on the number of flats, we recommend technologies such as a compost pit, tumblers or an OWC system.
A biogas plant is only advised for a township.
Having agreed upon a technology, we install the system as well as run it regularly. We also collect the dry waste and send it to our established recycling centers.
Case Study - Imperial Heights , GoregaonOne of our predominant stories of success is that of Imperial heights in Goregaon. The society generates about 400-500 kg of wet waste per day.
Before approaching us, they owned an OWC system that we took over to reactivate and run.
We have been working with them for two years now and we have used their system to compost the wet waste.
Like other societies, we send their dry waste to our network of recyclers.
Case Study - Venus CHS , WorliWe have entered into a three year contract with Venus Cooperative Housing Society located in Worli in October 2017.
The society generates about 250 kg of waste per day and we set up a manual tumbler system for them that consists of 7 tumblers.
The compost generated is wisely used for gardening and for a spice plantation.
As per the contract, we will be operating their system for three years and charge a monthly rent. Post that period, the society will handle it itself.
The dry waste generated is sent to the recyclers.
